How much does a new drainage system cost?
It depends almost entirely on length, depth, the number of inlets and whether a viable discharge already exists. We survey and design before pricing, because a number given before anyone has checked the available fall is not a quote.
Where can the water actually discharge to?
Options are usually a street or curb outlet, a natural low point on the property, or a dry well where soil permits. What is appropriate depends on the fall available and local rules, and it is the first thing we establish rather than the last.
Do you install french drains or solid pipe?
Whichever the water needs. Perforated pipe in gravel collects water from saturated ground; solid pipe carries collected water somewhere else. Most properties here need both, doing different jobs, and using the wrong one is a common reason new systems disappoint.
